Presentation, interchange and continued editing need different files.
Choose for the recipient
Use PNG for presentations, GLB for supported materials and textures, and USDZ for compatible devices. The current OBJ export contains geometry, normals and UVs, without MTL or images.
Use a complete project to keep editing
A complete project retains editable scene parameters, referenced uploads and the fixed catalogue-model versions used by the design. Colours and dimensions remain editable after import. Missing resources cause a clear packaging failure rather than a silent replacement. A PNG cannot restore an editable 3D design, and a standalone model does not retain every configurator setting.
Choose local export or a service task
Export is local by default, with files and local output records kept in this browser or your chosen download location. Only choosing “Save as a service task” and submitting sends the complete design snapshot, brand text, referenced assets and output settings to this site’s service, which also stores the generated result. Everyday editing does not automatically create service output tasks.
Keep the execution page visible
The service stores tasks and results; output is currently executed by an open, visible browser. Closing or hiding the page interrupts an active task. Return to Export history and retry manually. Retries use the original design, assets, language and settings. Refreshing does not automatically upload local pending requests.
